Munchkin cat Breeders Denver

Munchkin or Napolean Breeders | Cleveland

Wow, I've missed a lot of the talk thread. Was not getting emails regarding this thread. For what it's worth, I did acquire a standard, show quality Munchkin at the Erie County SPCA. I don't show or breed. Original owners got rid of her because she is orange and white (very rare for cats, orange usually designates male) and they changed their interior décor.

I also have never surrendered an animal. Any animal that comes into my house is a lifetime pet. I have had many rescue animals however in my older years I appreciate the beauty and characteristics of certain breeds.

An honest breeder will not turn over kittens. Certain breeds are very expensive - Sphynx, roughly 1200.00 for pet, no show/breeding rights -and anyone purchasing this type of cat would have to have sh** for brains to pay that kind of money only to surrender it.

I have issue with the people who will take in a cat, allow it to become pregnant and than say "it's good for my children to experience the birth of these (unwanted and soon to be thrown away) kittens. I also have issue with the people who will get rid of a pet because they are involved with a "new paramour" who doesn't particularly like cats. The pet has been around for X amount of years, a faithful friend, and a new "schmuck" comes on the scene and the cat is history.

Breeders are not the issue. Ignorant people are. And don't get me started on exorbitant veterinary costs which make it most cost effective to surrender a long time pet to the local humane society than to try and pay for the meds/costs to maintain it's health.

Clearly that kitty tree is not equiped with a suitable velvet fluffy pillow and enough toys, I can understand the kitties objections, I mean really, and Munchkin clearly isn't getting ALL of the petting in this scenario, that, to a cat, is grounds for like, jail time or something isn't it? Fines? Like you have to hand feed them catnip laced anchovies once a week or something? Pretty kitties :)

Desperate Search for Scottish Fold Munchkin Kitten!!!?

I am searching for a Scottish Fold Munchkin kitten. I am absolutely in love with them. I recently lost my beloved cat, and am ready now to move ahead. I have always gone through rescues, but I am sure there will not be any of these available. Does anyone know of any reputable breeders? In Texas preferably? Thank you so much!

I'm Debi and I breed Scottish Fold kittens. Later this year we will also breed Scottish Kilts (Scottish Fold x Munchkin). Check our Facebook page and I just opened a brand new kilt page TODAY with 2 other breeders. Please come check it out: and Please get in touch with me in either location and I will do anything I can to help you ~ Debi

I am looking for a decently priced scottish fold munchkin kitten?! Please help me find my future baby!?

Munchykins, do you sell your munchkin kittens? If so how much? And where are you? Haha

Do you mean a Munchkin with folded ears like a Scottish Fold? Then good luck, as no reputable breeder breeds these. Munchkins have fallen out of favor, it seems due to the genetic defects that come with intentionally breeding dwarfism into them. They used to be common in TICA cat shows, now you see very few. Only back yard breeders will breed for the "cuteness" appeal of short legs and folded ears.

If you want a real Scottish Fold, then follow R P Cat's advice about finding a real breeder. A folded eared kitten that does not have papers in TICA or CFA or ACFA…

I'm looking for a Scottish fold munchkin kitten in VA plz help!?

It has to be in Virginia and reasonably priced leave the person's phone # and a link to the website (optional) and the price. TKS! :)
Omicom they exist my friend has one.
Sorry typo Ocimom is what I meant

I agree with Ocimom both breeds have severe genetic faults and mixing the 2 can cause a big problem. If your friend has one ask her to get you one. As for reasonable price, good luck. No purebred cat is cheap. This being a back yard breeder mixing two registered breeds is looking for money. The kittens are no longer a breed but a regular domestic cat/kitten of no breed.

I need some tips on Minskin Cat Breed Stuff?

I want to buy a Minskin, and I already know pretty much everything about them. I was watching a Cats 101 and all the stuff about it matches what I need PERFECTLY! I just had a couple questions
FIRST if you know a breeder or can find some online please give me a link. I need one in California So please don't give me one from North Virginia I don't believe shipping animals is very nice...
I also wanted to know about how much they cost. The average cost, and I know they're rare, so I just wanted to know their average price.
If you are a Minskin…

I suggest you DO NOT buy an animal ever. You should always adopt from a shelter! The animal that are rescued are more loving and appreciative.
